Eeeeeverybody wants something new and if variety is the spice of life then P.B.E. and Mz Alter Ego herself Trina Gurl is la vida loca! They have it all with music of varying styles and sounds but with
the same coolness and hotness that makes them great. Out of the Upper Midwest P.B.E and
Trina Gurl are emerging as forces destined for greatness. It may seem as though they just
appeared out of nowhere but they've paid their dues with the trials and tribulaltions of new artists trying to hit it big.
 
If you're sick and tired of being sick and tired of the same boring rap songs with the same lame beats and meaningless lyrics then open up your eyes and ears and check out one of the best new rap music sensations to hit the Underground market. Polar Bear Entertainment, LLC is just what we've been waiting for... And Trina Gurl is a force all her own. If you haven't heard of them yet you will. They are an intensely talented group of young men and a lady who are taking the upper Midwest by storm. They get the crowd going and the party started with songs like Hip Hop, Jap Out and Sex Ya.  Listen to the lyrics in the Twista-like flow of Jap out...Just freakin' great. Every time I listen to it I have to smh. Brilliant!

The style is a little islands/blues/jazz/hip-hop/rock, soul, with a lot of rap mix. It's different alright. They even throw in a love song here and there, my favorite, (She Loves Me),  I think you could dedicate to your lady without being called corny. Some of the language may be a bit strong, but even so the messages are usually on the right side of things. Checking out the titles 'Crazy' and 'Take You There' are a tribute to writing brilliance. The titles 'Around Here' and 'Recession' reflect the signs of the times with true words of what we have all been feeling as of late. The money pinch is even felt by the "Gangstas" and the beat of the sound even seems to reflect the fact that as they put it "miss the time when money used to fly by the second". And then out of the blue comes a fun, shake your boot-Ay, unique & snappy sound like 'Hypnotized' just in time to pull you out of it and let you know life is still great and fun times and physical attraction are still king no matter the economy situation. But just talking about music doesn't do justice for it. You have to experience it for yourself.
Trina Gurl stands on her own with the smoldering song "sex ya" and another favorite of mine "Changed Woman".  Like I said, you just have to experience it for yourself.

Polar Bear Entertainment, LLC  and Trina Gurl are based in Minneapolis, MN and work in association with video & photo company Whoshotyavideo, LLC who does the videos for various artist & models.  Together their work makes for a very unique and entertaining mix. You find yourself with the music and videos in your head...in a good way, amd you'll want to repeat the experience again and again. Yea, they're bad...once again, in a good way.
